Baby Water Club is great fun for both the baby and his parents, because swimming is one of the few forms of physical activity that can be practiced with the baby almost immediately after his birth.
Swimming is one of the few forms of activity that babies can engage in from the first days of their lives. Water is conducive to their physical and mental development. Children discover their movement abilities by grabbing toys, throwing balls and splashing with water. This is where babies take their first steps in learning to move freely. The child and parent take part in the classes, creating a unique duo that learns through play. As they get older, babies integrate with their peers, participating in group games and establishing bonds with other children.
Parents notice that their children eat better, sleep better and develop faster than their peers who do not go swimming. Water training strengthens the body’s immunity, which is why children attend classes all year round. Water play stimulates the child’s physical and mental development, helps in the rehabilitation of children with bone and joint ailments and neurological disorders.
The classes run by SWIM TEST instructors are based on the Halliwick method. They are divided into two groups: toddlers (3 months – 2 years) in groups of 4 with their parents and older children (up to 8 pairs). Each class has its own set ritual, which provides the children with a sense of security. The instructors play the role of „aunt” and „uncle”, and the children learn each other’s names.
The current schedule of classes is available in the graphics section.
